What is G20?
The G20 is a meeting of the world’s leading developed and developing countries. The 19 countries or states that make up the group include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United States, and the UK. Other States, Governments, and international institutions including the World Bank, United Nations (UN), and International Monetary Fund (IMF) are welcome to attend the G20 conference in addition to these countries. More than 80% of the world’s GDP, 75% of commerce, and 60% of the world’s population are produced by the G20 countries.
